Chocolate Bark- Guest Post

Thank you, Adina, for submitting this recipe.

I love chocolate bark because it’s easy to make and always looks so pretty. It’s the perfect thing to make when you want to send something special to a friend, or to impress your mother-in-law when she comes for a visit.

1/2 cup Rice Krispies

1/2 cup slivered almonds

1/4 cup craisins

1/4 cup coconut chips

1/2 cup walnuts

1/2 cup pretzels sticks

14 oz. bar of baking chocolate

1/4 cup peanut butter

Combine the first four ingredients in a bowl and set aside. Mix the walnuts and pretzels together, crush them a little, and then add them to the bowl. This will be your topping.

Melt the bar of chocolate and add the peanut butter. Once completely melted, spread thinly on a cookie sheet. Sprinkle the topping mixture to cover the chocolate completely and freeze for 15 minutes. Remove from the freezer and drizzle some more melted chocolate on top. Return to the freezer for another hour.

Once the bark is completely solid, you can crack into pieces.
