This is the perfect side to enhance your Shabbos or Yom Tov meal. Easy to make and certainly a crowd pleaser.
1 pkg of Pepperidge Farm puff pastry sheets
1 4 oz pack of turkey
1 4 oz pack of pastrami
1 large onion- sauteed
2 tbs mustard
sesame seeds- optional
Once the puff pastry dough is defrosted, roll it out into a rectangle.
Smear 1 tbs of mustard onto each sheet (the package comes with 2). Add the deli (each piece should slightly overlap) and add the onions on top.
Starting from the longer side, roll the dough and place on a cookie sheet with the seam side down.
Cut slits on the top, brush with egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Bake on 400º for 15 minutes and then lower to 350º for another 15 minutes.
Freeze once completely baked and warm up uncovered when ready to serve.
